The story of Cignoli begins in the distant 1920s, when an enterprising boy, named Attilio Cignoli, to follow his passion for electric light, decides to leave his hills and work for a local craftsman, learning a new and charming. After years of hard sacrifices, in 1937 the young Cignoli finally managed to open his own business, specializing in the installation of industrial electrical systems.

In the years of the Second World War, the artisan activity grew and expanded, also developing commercial activity. The company, now passed into the hands of the sons of the tireless Attilio, grows, specializes and diversifies its activities according to the changing needs of the market. Each choice made by Cignoli is equivalent to a step forward in achieving the objectives, so with a great intuition the brothers Luciano and Sergio Cignoli decide to concentrate their efforts in one direction, that is the wholesale and retail trade of electrical materials, initially at the Casteggio site and subsequently also through the Voghera and Vigevano branches, the latter now located in Trezzano.

Thanks to the acquisition of the Zetalux company, which in a few years will make way for the new Fin-Lux, the Cignoli group specializes in the supply of advanced automation technologies. Meanwhile, Cignoli Elettroforniture, stimulated with new ideas by the third generation, expands and continues its growth with a view to providing the customer with an excellent service, characterized by an unchanged passion for their work.
